This Skandia Profi saw frame, also called hacksaw, is a stable hacksaw frame for all-round use. The blade tensioning mechanism is incorporated in the metal handle of this Professional model. With a hacksaw, the forward stroke is the cutting stroke. By exerting pressure on the saw arch, the teeth (saws) cut into the material. During the return stroke, no pressure should be applied to allow the teeth to loosen the metal particles. Comes complete with an HSS (high-speed high-speed steel) hacksaw blade, with a length of 300 mm (12 in). Specifications:
