Skandia blind rivet, also called pop rivet, is a means of connecting two pieces of sheet material together if the material is only accessible from one side. The blind rivet consists of a sleeve with or without a head of, for example, aluminum and a steel draw pin with a convex head which is pulled into the sleeve with the aid of a blind rivet pliers. This causes the sleeve to expand and clamp itself in the two pieces of sheet material. With sufficient pulling force, the tow pin breaks off automatically. Specifications:
