Purchased this as I need to cut studio rack tracking for a church system install. Why this? Well this is what happens when an Evolution saw fails and is no longer serviceable and given to a friend for scrap / parts. left without metal cutting kit, this is the best solution. I stick to Irwin because it's what I'm used to and the price was within budget. This will do for what I need, not that I work with much metal, but this is in the toolbox either way. This is a metal handle grip and similar to a much older model I had years back, easy to set up and comfortable to use. What more can you say about a hacksaw?
